    Something that Aggravates me.

I went to the Huddle House to eat today and the hole restraunt is smoking. well we sit in the corner near the restrooms. this group of poeple were smokin the whole time they ate. well when they wasnt smoking they held there cigarettes in the ailes so all the smoke wouldnt get near them. so basically all the smoke would just float to us. I honestly couldnt hardly eat my food. i think restraunts should ban smoking unless the other customers say it is ok

I am 100 times more open minded than most on here about the topics we talk about.-Raider13

My dad said the other day putting a smoking section in a public place is like putting a peeing section in a public pool, goes all over no matter where you smoke....I agree....I am more tolerate of smoking, I used to smoke, my husband, all his family, my sister, mother, and others smoke. I am an ex smoker, not a reformed one, but there are times in my own home I have had to ask my husband to go some place else.
I was married by a judge. I should have asked for a jury.

Most disgusting thing there is in my opinion. I mean it says right on the pack, THIS STUFF WILL KILL YOU, yet people still do it. And they aren't cheap either, I dont see how some of these people afford it myself.

I am a smoker myself and I think that banning smoking is wrong.. I pay taxes just like everyone else and if I want to smoke then that is my right.. At the same time I try to be respectful and if the restaurant is not full I will sit away from other customers.. I don't know exactly how many people who go to restaurants smoke but I think it is probably a lot and if the restaurants want their business also then they need to make a separate dining area for smokers.. When drinking is available in certain restaurants do they have a separate drinking area because some people become loud and obnoxius after just a few drinks..

smoking should be illegal. period. If your driving and smoking you should get pulled over for reckless driving. Smoking should be treated as Heroin. Its far worse.

If smoking should be illegal then so should dipping, drinking, chewing tobacco, cursing. Basically anything that some people enjoy doing should be illegal..Are you saying that you have no habits at all??

    Re: Something that Aggravates me.

I have been in situations, more than once, where I've had to ask a hostess to reseat me. I always ask for non-smoking for health reasons, doctors orders.

But there have been times when I'm in a non-crowded restaurant and the hostess seats me right beside the "smoking" section (meaning I'm at a table right beside a smoking table).
They do this to save the servers extra steps, condense the customers.

Calling it a non-smoking section wont magically keep the smoke from the table beside me from wafting over.

I like it better when restaurants have smoking rooms, complete with walls and a working ventilation system.
    You'll shoot your eye out.

I agree with you.. The restaurants need to make a whole other section complete with walls for smokers.
